About us

The Hope Hubb is a survivor-led platform created by me, Tara Brown in memory of my brother, Jason John Brown, who was kidnapped and violently murdered in 2019.

This space exists for families affected by violence — to share stories, find support, and demand justice reform that truly listens.

We speak from lived experience. We know the grief, the delays, and the silence survivors are expected to endure. And we believe in speaking out, even when the system doesn’t make space for us.

In 2025, Canada introduced new bail and sentencing reforms. It’s a step forward — but survivors still have to fight to be seen, heard, and respected.

Join the movement.
